Well, it always depends (duh).
Personally I like going on dates when it's cold. Some girls will bundle up in earthy colors (outerwear) and I like that a lot.
For a more formal evening deal, I like black dresses since it implies sophistication. Red just makes you look easy. Any color can work, really (within reason). It is more the cut of the dress compared to the background and surrounding people that will make a girl look good or not.
