Hey guys, I have just had a baby and i have enjoed looking on the net for pictures of and information about the feotol progress through the many weeks of my pregnency. I have however come across abortion sites by accident on my search for the developing feotes scans, and ..........................whoa. What a shock to the system that was. I can say i found the photos very disturbing none to say the least. And i guess it was all courosity killed the cat so i read how different abortions are performed and some of them just seem to be plain outright murder!!!!! (for eg inducing labour on a 23-38 week pregnency and then just letting the bub starve to death after the birth, or dismembering the arms n legs of the feotus or crushing the skull and then sucking the brains out) I come from australia and i dont think that those kind of abortions are leagal here, but it still seems very disturbing and it rips my heart out to think of it.
sorry to drag on but i just have to see what othrs think

Just to let you know right off the bat I do not believe in abortions! I do think those sites are a good idea for the simple fact that if someone is thinking about having one (and they have to look at what they are actually doing to another living being) it just might be the "One Thing" that makes them change their minds. I, myself had to go through years of testing,anguish,heartache and loss to get pregnant and would never harm an innocent child. I am really sorry that you stumbled across the site though. usually when people have abortions the baby isn't fully developed and it is only an embryo. They don't even have limbs yet. The pictures you probably saw were from a late abortion like if the baby had to be aborted because it wouldn't be able to survive after it was born.

the thing you need to keep in mind is that they lie about the age of the fetus, if you note the number of weeks in those biased photos and then look it up they are no where near the same size.
I am sorry but I am pro choice, and I have lost a baby so I do know how it feels, late term abortions are atrocious and should be outlawed

I came across those sites too when i was pregnant and looking for fetus pics. They made me sick and I cried at most of them. I don't understand how anyone can destroy a life like that. Especially when there are couples out there who would do anything to hold a baby in their arms and raise a child. It's murder, plain and simple.
