ok so I downloaded software to convert a htm file....saved the software in a folder?

i'm not sure what the next step is .... how do you convert the file?

More info is needed. What do you want to convert it to?
Htm files can be converted to doc simply by copying the file as views in a browser and pasted into Word.
Normally, you activate downloaded software by double clicking on the file name or icon.
