Don't give your dog human toothpaste! Human toothpaste is not supposed to be eaten by humans or dogs. Dogs have more sensitive stomachs than us, so it can cause stomach problems including ulcers.

Human toothpaste could make her sick. If you want to brush her teeth, then go to the pet store and get some doggy toothpaste.

Some toothpastes are sweetened with Xylitol, which is highly toxic to dogs. It makes their blood sugar levels plummet and they go into shock.
Use toothpaste made for dogs.

it has to be dog approved toothpaste. human toothpaste can be toxic or cause a tummy ache in your pet. you can get dog toothpaste at most pet isle's and supply stores. if your dog has an odor start at the vet it might be an abcessed tooth and your dog needs a dental. start with your vet.

Give it doggie toothpaste. My chi likes it. You can buy some small toothbrushes that fit on your finger so that you can easily brush its teeth. My dog thinks its a treat.

I have four dogs and they all love toothpaste. I give them each some every night when i brush my teeth. I have heard that it can hurt their stomach, so I give them VERY little, pretty much just enough to give them a taste.

well it might be ok but then it might get sick but i am not possitivley sure If you havent noticed dogs dont eat toothpaste. I dont think he or she will eat it in the first place
