I think Excedrin Tension Headache, coated tablets

Excedrin is probably the best formula for headaches, as it combines aspirin with caffeine for an added effect. These people dont no what they are talking about, caffeine doesnt thin the blood nor does that action relieve a headache. The caffiene actually potentiates the analgesic effects (pain killing) of the aspirin, while also constricting blood vessels, the key to killing a headache. So take Excedrin or just smoke a cigarette and that will usually instantly kill a headache.

Put you thumbs on the part where the back of your Three pressure points: 1. Where the neck meets the back of your skull. Then with your thumbs push in and upward. Do that about two to three times to that pressure point. 2. Another spot is the sides of your head at eye level. Massage your temples, basically. 3. The third spot doesn't really stop the headache, so much as get your mind off it. Between your index finger and thumb there is that flap of skin that connects the two, just behind that area is a nerve. Massage that nerve. It'll hurt like hell, but will get your mind off the headache.

It is tough to answer this without knowing whether this is for an adult or child.

For an adult, I would state Tylenol for headache relief. It is best to take it when you first feel it coming on. Once the headache is full blown it is tough to get anything to work. I like the gel caps just for ease of taking.

Advil/ibuprofen are better for any muscle aches but does work with headaches.

Ibuprofen for me as it works on the headache and is effective also at halting inflammation as well as a blood thinner. Doesn't matter what form it comes in as far as effect. The coated variety is just easier on your stomach. Don't take Tylenol if you drink alcohol because of liver interaction.
