I guess if it is not "registered" in any way with a registry that keeps track of that....you cannot ever know.

Pam...AKC does not register "pitbulls".

If it is from a registered sire and dam, and you have registered him/her yourself, you can order a pedigree through the registry.

If it is registered but not in your name, and registered with the AKC, you can do a research pedigree on the AKC website. It cost either $12 or $15 for each pedigree you order.

if it is from a registered breeder they should have all the paperwork on its bloodlines for it. if not - how many stars are in the sky ????

look up his last name at the library. lol sorry couldn't resist. either look at his papers or contact the breeder you got him from. otherwise no real other way to do this. good luck.
