I know it takes a long time. I am willing to wait but my patient always dies.

What kind of rooting compound should I use for example ?

I have done this before. I bought some chemical from Home Depot but I cannot remember the actual brand. Not that expensive. So, just go directly to the garden expert at any Home Depot, WalMart or Lowe's and explain what you want done.

are you trying to start a new plant?theyre are pretty easy to root,just make sure the one you prune off is a good size and stick it in a glass of water wont take no time at all

buy some root tone,I think it's called. you dip the stalk in it before putting it in the potting soil
