I feel ya there! Yes it is addictive, if not physically (even though it is because of the caffeine withdrawl) it sure is psychologically. I get headaches when I don`t drink it. I drink it all day long at least 3 1Liter bottles a day! (I know it`s bad...but hey, I tried to stop....I just can`t..... and now....I don`t want to stop, it`s too good).

Chances are you are more addicted to the sugar than the caffeine. While there is caffeine in Coca-cola, it is LOADED with sugar. You need to switch to a diet soda without caffeine. I recommend Diet Pepsi or Diet Dr. Pepper. Diet Coke doesn't taste anything like regular Coke. If you switch to a diet soda you like you will still get a great deal of the same taste but you don't wind up with cavities and junk in the trunk ten years from now. Trust me it puts pounds on you. When I quit drinking it I lost tons of weight. I drank it when I was a kid too and I was fine until I hit my mid twenties. Your metabolism slows down and you can't get away with it forever...

I not ever bought hyper... however I used to get withdrawal signs whilst I did not drink it. I used to be ONLY ingesting one million can each and every two-three days! And the time whilst I did not drink a can - I had an giant headache, it doesn't matter what I did, the headache would not leave. After taking a sip of vitamin cola, it instantly went away. This is why I've stopped ingesting it - being hooked on something is unhealthy.

It is addictive. A little over 7 months ago i gave up all sodas. And i also don't drink coffee so i cut off my caffine entirely. I was sick for about 2 week and I had constand headaches. I want from only drinking soda to not drinking it at all. Some good things are carbonated water and fruit juices like Izze.

Oh yeah, caffine is super addictive. My stepfather drinks it like it is water and if he stops drinking it for too long, he gets crazy. Headaches, anger. Also, ALL of his teeth have rotted out and he is scheduled to get dentures for both the top and bottom. I would cut back slowly and try diet. I know, I know...diet Coke...but I used to be like you and now all I can drink is diet. Good Luck :)

Your teeth are fine now......... give 'em time........ they will eventually all turn black and fall out. And, you write like you're hyped up on sugar and caffeine. The sugar is more addictive than the caffeine, but both are addictive. I have a feeling that telling you to quit isn't going to do any good, so go... drink yourself into a mess.

caffine a very bad drug. youll get very bad head aches and docters will call them migrines, not true. caffine is a vasoconstirctor making blood vessels narrow, raising b/p, increasing the vein size and so on.sooner or later big problems happen quit now go cold turkey, keep plenty of caffine free asprin on hand.

Oh yes......well it is the caffeine in it that you may be addicted to. You may not have any physical signs right now but after several years it think it can rot your stomach! Well that is what I have heard if you drink enough of it!!

What you experience is most likely only caffeine withdrawal, which can cause nasty headaches, insomnia, and irritability. It happens often to folks who withdraw for extreme coffee consumption! :-)=
