It's normal to have irregular periods while nursing. If baby nurses more one month (cold, teething, growth spurt) then that cycle is likely to be longer. If baby nurses less one month then that cycle is likely to be shorter.
Know that if your period has returned, you can get PG again while nursing so you should use alternative methods of birth control.
