I doubt Hitler was a Christian.HE made some very illuminating quotes in private:"Christianity is an invention of sick brains: one could imagine nothing more senseless, nor any more indecent way of turning the idea of the Godhead into a mockery.... .... When all is said, we have no reason to wish that the Italians and Spaniards should free themselves from the drug of Christianity. Let's be the only people who are immunised against the disease."

I always loved the irony: The KKK's unreasonable hatred of Catholics, and their admiration for Adolf Hitler, who was an Austrian Catholic. Of course, all they could see was Hitler's rabid hatred of Jews, which fits with the KKK's policy. I can only imagine what would have happened if the KKK had showed up in Berlin in the late 1930s in their pretty satin dresses and funny pointed gnome hats. Might have been worth it to see them being herded into train cars. But no one ever said either Hitler or the KKK were particularly smart. Just psychotic.

The KKK does more than wear a cross around their necks. They use the Bible to justify their racism, just as Fred Phelps uses the Bible to protest soldiers' funerals, or any local "true" Christian uses it to justify their beliefs. I would say they are Christian, but how would one be able to discern a "true" Christian from one's who get it wrong? Isn't their view of the Bible just as valid as anyone else's since there is no conclusive way to prove either side is right? Then again, why should anyone get the interpretation wrong. If one can assume God created the human brain, one must consider that He knew the brain misinterprets things. . .or He meant it to misinterpret it that way.

Ah well, they can't all be as Christian as the BTK Serial killer.

There are remarkably few "true" Christians left after you take out all those who claim to be but do some wrong things. Coupla hundred, I'd reckon.

I don't think that would include you David - you're in wrathful and judgemental mood tonight. Better keep trying if you want to get in with the "true" Christians. Good luck.

Yes I do. Last time I checked Jesus came to die for the sins of people and said prayer was a means for repentance. That means that that the kkk and hitler were true christians that committed sins; it just happens that their sins are regarded as worse than those you may commit.

Adolf Hitler was a Catholic, and was never excommunicated or even reprimanded for his actions. He has declared both in public and in private that he considered himself to be doing "the Lord's Great Work".

As for the KKK, they believe in God, Jesus, and the Bible. That is the definition of a Christian, regardless of their interpetations. So it looks as though you're the one who needs to be honest.

If it quacks like a duck looks like a duck its a duck. The KKK and Hitler act a lot like some evangelists ive researched. PS doesnt the phrase true christian remind you of the idea of the PURE RACE hitler wanted?

They know the difference... It's the same like the Muslims saying kill the Christians and the Jews and we will get 100 virgins in Heaven...?

Since the bible says that the Jews are his chosen people, its hard to believe that a Christian would want to annihilate Gods chosen people. Anyone can claim to be Christian with their mouth, but what are their actions telling you they are?...

I crack up when Christians even attack other Christians.

What matters David, is what do they think that they are! You know very well that any KKK idiot is going to claim to be a Christian. You also know that Hitler technically was a Christian.

Is Eric Rudolph a true Christian?
