First of all, Jesus was flesh and blood as you and I, He could be killed.
Secondly, When you have a one on one relationship with god, wouldn't you do a you were told? Jesus did that.
Long before Jesus came to us, the action of dying on the cross was already planned. This had been for-told to and by man since the days after Noah.
Lastly, Even if I didn't believe in Christ, I would take care to watch what I say about a possible Deity. In this case, ignorance is not true bliss...It's Hell!

1) If Jesus couldn't be killed, He couldn't give up His life.
2) Willingly giving up your life is NOT suicide... Suicide is, by definition, the killing of oneself BY oneself.
3) Yes, suicide is a sin because it's the murdering of oneself by oneself.
4) No, Jesus is NOT a sinner... BUT, He took upon Himself ALL the sins of mankind (men, women, and children) and paid the penalty of God's wrath for it for us so that we would not have to... All who can believe this - and that He rose again from the dead 3 days later - will be saved... Others will be saved, also, as it is written in Matthew 25:31-46...

Hope to see YOU there...!

No Jesus did not commit suicide in any way. He was raised by God to heavens (for 2nd coming) by causing confusion among those who were there to crucify him says Quran). This is not too far fetched for God the Almighty, the best of the planners, who created Adam from dust and created Jesus with a miraculous birth.
Jesus is not a sinner. Being a human and a Prophet, he could possibly have made human errors in worldly matters but in spiritual matters God the Almighty had chosen him as a Prophet and prepared him for the mission of delivering His message. So he had the best Guide of all the guides in spiritual matter.

Its called sleeping for 3 days. Jesus is said to be God, and God doesn't die! If God died then what about the father and the holy ghost ..were they having some near death experience! Who was listening to the prayers of people when he was dying.. huh? A correct answer must explain all logical questions... or at least most of them.

Yes, he did.

If Jesus supposedly had the power to stop his death from occurring, either by simply performing a miracle or escaping, and he allowed it to continue then it was unquestionably suicide. In his case, suicide by Centurion.

"Sacrifice" or not, he allowed himself to be killed. He martyred himself when he did not have to. He supposedly deliberately chose death. That is the definition of suicide. It's a lot like someone who offers to die rather than saddle their family with medical bills: It's a sacrifice all right, but it's still suicide.

Jesus did not commit suicide, read the scripture. Jesus was crucified, on a cross, so that his Father's (GOD) will could be done, and so that prophecy could be fulfilled. Jesus gave his life as a ransom for many, his death purchased our salvation.

PS: Judas Iscariot killed himself by hanging himself on a tree, for the guilt for giving Jesus over to the Pharises for some gold coins would not allow him to live.

Jesus is perfect because he is LORD. No that isn't suicide because it was actually God the Father who killed his son, because the Father sacrificed Jesus for our sins... Suicide is not a sin in itself, but usually it is a result of not trusting God. It is forgiveable though b/c the only sin that cannot be forgiven is denying the Holy Spirit.

I wouldnt say that giving up ones life could be considered suicide. I would be willing to lay my life down for my children, but that doesnt mean that i would be killing myself. I am not a high and mighty highly religous person, but perhaps you should actually look into the bible, or some other form of theology to get the answers you are looking for.

Suicide is a sin for humanity because our lives were given to us by God. The sin lies in the fact that only God is allowed to "call us home". Jesus, (If you are a Christian) is God incarnate, so He did not commit suicide. Jesus allowed his human life to be taken because he gave himself human life. There was no suicide involved.

He had the power to stop them but instead chose not to because He had a mission, and the prophecies said it would happen that way.
