I've been dieting for my entire life. I use to be a competitive figure skater so since I was 8 I've been doing one fad diet after another. The diet I'm on right now is called the Special K challenge and it really does work. I've been doing for about a week and a half and I've lost 6 pounds so far. Next week I will be doing the cleanse which will help me lose about 10 pounds in two weeks. The problem is once your body loses it=s fatty fat it will be harder to lose the rest. I recommend running, jump roping, swimming, and getting an exercise ball to do floor work with. It will tone you up real quick. If you have any questions just email me bombiest_blonde@yahoo.com

Get a food and exercise diary. Keeping the record daily or even after every meal reminds yourself about the healthy choice. And weight yourself couple of times a week and keep track of it and set a goal. Don't easily reward yourself once you eat 100 calories less than last meal, you probably are gonna to eat more than that back. Read articles about how other people are doing it and how long they took. Do not look at the advertisement, they are not showing all the efforts that one person put it in, they just promote their product. Losing weight takes more than that.

If you're really serious about loosing weight, you might wanna try out yoga(try the leg works and Sun salutation) or pilates. It's maybe slow to some but I'm not joking,it works!
Always do your yoga in the morning before food.
Also try cutting down junk food, snacks & soft fizzy drinks.
Eat more wholesome food like wholemeal or wholegrain stuff.
Eat more salad and vegetables(olive oil & lemon/lime for dressing),cut down red meat(or not at all).
Try lean chicken and fish in moderation.
Use olive oil.
Yoghurt every morning.
Eat more fruits.
Drink home made juice(no added sugar) and green tea!
Good luck,hon!

Hello
well walking is great speed walking almost to a jog, or jogging but its rougher on your bones in the long run, walking is great but you need to walk at least 20 to 30 mins to get your heart rate up, when its up thats when you burn fat and you get all the benefits, walking tones legs buttocks all over.
for your stomach there are a number of tummy toners, sittups but for correct instructions look online , look under tight abs or sittups. try efitness.com
Hope this helps but remember diet plays a big part in losing weight.

When I started running I just wanted to get in shape and I lost 15 pounds even though my appetite increased. But don't run on a tread mill, that doesn't work your legs like real running. Find a nice trail or something on dirt, running on a track is so boring. I guarantee that if you learn to like running you will be in the best shape of your life.

you can eat healthy but not diet, because it can damage your body since you are still young. you can follow some basic rule, and it shows as below:
1) drink water only, not even coffee (coffee makes you start for sugar)
2) eat good carbs with protein, such as brown rice and fresh meat. process food is bad for you.
3) eat raw vegteable if you are hungry.
4) 2 pieces of fruit, but not mor than that. fruit contains sugar.
5) you can eat salad, but be careful for dresssing (light italian or leamon juice with peper and little honey)
6) eat 5 small meals instead of 3 large meals.
7) exercise at least 1 hour each day after school, and another 1 hour before sleep. dancing at home is good ideas. it is how J.LO gets her body.
hopefully, you can get a beach body before summer.

Join the military, they'll tone you up. JK, I know you're too young. You sound like you're the same height and weight my sister is/was. Do pilates videos, if you have a hard time staying motivated, what I do is stare at the mirror while I'm doing it so I can see all the flab on my butt and thighs! Also I turn my iPod as loud as I can so I can't hear myself giving up.
