What are cats allergic to?

Just like people, each cat is different. Something that one cat is allergic to another may not be. Common allergies are fleas and dust. With you saying this is urgent I'm wondering if you meant what is toxic for cats. Common cat toxicity is caused by plants. Some examples are:
Castorbean
White Snakeroot
Senecio, Ragwort
Water Hemlock
Poison Hemlock
Cocklebur
Pigweed
Jimsonweed
Johnsongrass
Cherry
Yew
Red Maple
Easter Lily
Oleander
Rosary Pea

Household cleaners and pesticides are also toxic. Please contact your vet right away if your cat is lethargic,not eating or drinking, vomiting, having seizures, or is acting strange in any way. Hope this helps.

My mother, sister, and cousin are all allergic to cats - they all have cats. My mom built up an immunity - she toughed it out without allergy pills and went from her face swelling up to absolutely no reaction in about a year. My sister uses an off-brand of Benadryl, because the real stuff makes her drowsy. She doesn't have much of a reaction other than the itchy, watery eyes now, but she's been using allergy meds for the past 3 years she's had her cat. And I don't think my cousin takes anything anymore. One of my friends is also allergic, it's not severe, she just gets itchy eyes, so she just takes Claritin before she comes over. Just find out what works best for you.. or whomever has the allergy. (:

cats can have allergies to all kinds of things, like the type of litter you use, dust, something in their food. If ur not sure take it to a vet
