my cckatiel seems to like the grapfruit but she shakes her head alot when she eats it...kinda like she finds it too sour? should i continue to feed it to her orr shood i stop?

yes...most birds like spicy foods and citrus foods. Go ahead and feed it that...Just not avacodoes.( That will kill parrots)

She shakes her head as a reaction to the taste and smell. If she keeps eating it, then she must like it. Cockatiels can pretty much eat anything we can eat (healthy food) (including chicken and eggs)

As far as I know, grapefruit is alright; however if you want to be 100% sure, check with your vet.

Grapefruit is fine.

She probably shakes her head because when those little juice packets burst, the liquid shoots on her beak and/or into her mouth. Be careful with the seeds - don't let her eat them.

fruits and veggies are good for birds, a lot better than just a seed diet. I would get a book on what to feed and what not to feed your bird. I know they can have apples but the seeds can be fatal.

Grapefruit will not hurt your cockatiel. If he enjoys it give him a little occasionally.

She might find it stimulating. As long as she does not get sick, fruit should be fine. I don't find that birds eat things they don't like, nor do they overeat.

what i suggest is that you should not give them grapefruit because if you want babies or eggs is not helpfull gor them
