Well, if your cat is stupid, give it cat food and say its a paper plate "Descized" as cat food. Then in no time the cat's stupid paper plate eating habit will stop.

Cat Paper Plates

You just don't understand cats. The roll of toilet paper is like a toy. It moves, it rolls, so the cat plays with it. Perhaps you should buy some cat toys. Cats like food. Just imagine if you were forced to eat a hamburger for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day of your life. You would be happy to have a tastier food and so it goes with cats. When I eat dinner I put out a plate of the same thing for my cat, especially if it is chicken, tuna, peas, or cereal with milk. Cats are special and it takes a special person to understand them. You don't train cats...they train you. Find a website about cats and learn.

Our Smokey cat is a "pica" eater - which means the cat eats non-food - and you can't stop the cat from doing that, so you must keep non-food edibles away from the cat.
Keep your paperplates in an upper cupboard.

By the way, our Smokey is 20 years old last Halloween!

I trust Seattle He really knows what he is talking about. Keep glass plate around and do not keep paper plates where your cat can eat the paper plates.

It might not be a case of PICA. Your cat could be a need for vitamins. Your cat could be lacking something in it's diet and trying to compensate by eating paper, much like some children do. Have a blood test done by your vet then you'll know exactly what you are dealing with. after all the poor thing DOES depend on ou for its livelihood. Please don't ignore this condition or just accept any ole answer. Get a professionals' opinion.
