As noted several times in the Bible, people who lived hundreds of years did not have a first child until they were well past 100 years old.

Is it possible that, because they lived longer, on a hormone level, they matured slower, perhaps not entering puberty until decades later than is common today?

Consider that Christ, as a perfect human being, had everlasting (not immortal) life and would have lived forever, if not for catastrophic injury at age 33. There would be a physical trade off for such a long life span.

Had Adam not chosen a woman over God (yes, he was a fully mature male), his downline generations may not have had the ability to be attracted to women, and producing children at too young an age. Otherwise, they would have overwhelmed the ability of the planet to sustain such a population, after a very short period of time.

Christ may not have had that ability to be attracted to women (or anyone else for the gutter minds) until he was well past 100 years of age.

Asexuals are not attracted to others. Children, maturing normally, are asexual until puberty. Midgets (not dwarves), lacking the growth and development hormone, are usually asexual, because they did not develop the chemicals needed to for attraction. Christ would have needed the necessary chemicals in his body to feel an attraction. Don’t applied today’s standards to 2000 years ago, let alone to a man who was genetically like Adam, from 6000 years ago.

What I'm getting here is the idea that many Christians don't believe Christ was a perfect human being, for if was perfct, than he was life Adam, not like the men around him. If he was just a normal human being, than yes, he was like all the other men around him.

1. I asked a pastor this question, he said the calendar system of those times were imperfect, often going by estimation. Like when Moses and gang walked the dessert, the year was marked by landmarks they see... It is only in the later parts of the bible that the calendars became more standardised. That could be possibly why, people lived over 100s of years

2. Christ came as a human being and therefore had all the strengths and weaknesses of being human, why else would he have to be constantly on the run? Quite a few historical studies of the bible claimed that Christ never stayed more than 3 nights in a single town. He wouldnt need to if he was impervious to harm or invulnerable to pain. Since he was physically human, it is only logical that emotionally he had all the feelings that went with being human... but he was Spiritually superior, giving him the extra edge to transcend any lust that arose and transforming it into Love and Compassion. And he was here to show that, if he could do that in human form... so can ANYONE in humanity and especially with the strength and support of God.

The Bible says that Christ was in every way tempted as we, yet was without sin.
Also there is no scripture that says people who lived hundreds of years did not have offspring until after they were 100 years old. Neither does it list all of anyones offspring. Adam was 130 when Seth was born. Cain and Able were already grown at this point, and Able was already dead. But the godly line of Seth is given to establish a seed line to the Messiah. Adam and Eve could have had a hundred children by the time Seth came along. The genealogies listed in Genesis 5 do not necessarily start with the first child.
The point of all this is that if Jesus was not capable of sin-then His sacrifice was worthless. If he could somehow block out the pain of Calvary, then the sacrifice was unacceptable-and we Christians are in deep trouble.

God designed men to be attracted to women, it is not a bad thing. It only becomes bad when it is abused or peverted or in the wrong amount or at the wrong time.

People before the flood may have had extended life cycles compared to the present, but Jesus lived at a time when people did not live hundreds of years. There is no reason to suppose that he was different in this respect from other men living at his time.

Hee Papa Bear, you just reintroduced a thought I went through a bunch of years ago,I didn't get that far into your good point at that time because my knowledge wasn't far enough advanced yet.GOOD POINT---Edit -point--Hebrews 4:15 was concerning sinning, however the only one Satin could make the offer of all the kingdoms of the earth to was Jesus ,not only because he was perfect but had powerful influence with angels assigned him. That offer no other man or men could take on,reguardless how much they would want to.

Heb 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

15. For we have not an high priest [Jesus. sic] which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Jesus had none of the lust that wars in our members. He wasn't double-minded. If he had lived to 1000 years he wouldn't have known a moment of physical desire. He had a natural love for all people that came out of a pure heart, and as God he was no respecter of persons, not according to gender, age, religion or any other way. He was and is the same toward all that love him and call on his name.

edit:

He knew no sin in his mind or in any other way. He was tempted by the devil, not tempted by the sin that lives in us.

You are talking about the time when people lived to be hundreds of years old.

They didn't live that long at the time of Christ. but you should know this.

It says that he was in all points tempted like us, yet without sin.

I don't know about all that. Of course he felt attraction to a beautiful woman. How can people say he didn't? How many years of his life are missing from the Bible?

Also I don't know if it says anywhere in the Bible if he did, but he's commonly portrayed as having a beard.

Christ was fully God and fully human. How could he be fully human and not have human desires? His pure knowledge of His mission and His Oneness with I AM kept him in purity even though some powers tried to lead him to sucumb.
