None of you are reading deeply enough into this. "I've been playing you" is not a normal thing for a guy to say to a girl. There is the distinct possibility that he is lying, in which case he is trying to push you away. Or, maybe he trying to be "aloof", to entice you to chase him. What was his body language like? Was he mad? Was he smug?
One thing you girls have to learn is NOT TO TRUST WHAT COMES OUT OF A PERSON'S MOUTH. See what he does, not what he says, and you will be able to see his real feelings.
In the case that he really was honest about playing you, think about it. He has been dangling your emotions on puppet strings the entire time, and this is just part of it. He expects you to get mad at him, to kick him in the balls or to push him.
As long as you act just as he predicts, he is still dangling you on his string and you cannot win.
The only real way to win here is act in a fashion that he does NOT expect. Shrug it off, and then ask him out. Maybe then, HE will get mad because he thinks you're not listening to him. That's fine and dandy, but now consider - who is in control? That's right, you've turned the tables.

It's fair game for sweet revenge. Start with physical harm (kick to the balls?) and then gradually move to psychological warfare (this is where you can really get him and make him look like an *** to everyone else)

get over him. obviously he isnt a great guy, and there are plenty of other fish in the sea. true, its easier said than done, but it always helps to cut off all contanct with him and focus your attention elsewhere; on a hobby, your friends, or a new love interest.
