First get him fixed, then re-establish the order of your "pack". Even a fixed dog, male or female will hump another dog to show it's dominance as alpha. When your male dog does this you need to correct him by placing your hand on the back of his neck and apply light pressure and physically moving him off the female. Say "no" firmly. This shows him you are the boss and that the female is yours, not his. Hope it works, did for me.

Get the male dog fixed

Even if you get him fixed it may not stop it. First you should because pets are overpopulated as it is and you don't want to have little ones running around. It will also calm them down, and helps with the hormones they have.

Second it is not just for mating it is a dominance thing. My female humps my two males. Because she thinks she is dominant of them. If you little girl does does not accept his dominance she will snip at him. If she does it just shows her placement in the pack.

you can get the male dog fixed and it will help very much
he will hardly ever do it at all
However, if you want the dog to have puppies and you dont want to get him fixed your only option is to seperate the two dogs
i had this exact same situation with my two dogs and we decided to get him fixed and it helped very much
occasionaly he will jump up on her but if we yell his name he gets off and now he will only try to get on her once a month so getting him fixed is your best option and it really works

Is HE fixed? He doesn't care if she's fixed or not. Keep in mind, even if he is fixed, it will take time for those hormones to calm down, so he'll continue to do it for a while after he's been neutered.

are you kidding... that's like the basic animal instinct to reproduce your seeing there. that's just not going to go away... do you think the male knows that she can't do it (or cares for that matter)... no.. all he knows is that he wants some... (much like human males)
put them in different rooms if you can't stand to watch... or get rid of one of them. and get a dog of the same sex to replace the one you toss.

Let the poor dog alone, he needs a little fun.

Instinct

Even neutered males will sometimes do it, just because of instinct. If he isn't neutered, I would get him neutered because that will probably stop these instances.
