Yes, wine is mentioned multiple times as a drink among Jesus and His disciples...there are verses that say that you should not get drunk off wine
Ephesians 5:18 - "Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit."
Proverbs 20:1 speaks of the ill affects of wine and beer:
"Wine is a mocker and beer a brawler; whoever is led astray by them is not wise."

There are many locations within the Bible referring to drinking of wine, especially within the new testament. Matthew and Mark, where it starts to discuss the last super, there is reference to drinking of wine there. As far as it being wrong to get drunk, no, there isn't any specific reference to "not get drunk;" however, usually when the Bible refers to drunkards, it is not in a positive way, and as it constitutes today, is pretty frowned upon by the ministries.

Socially, no. Drunk, yes.
nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. -1 Corinthians 6:10
Jesus himself drank socially and throughout the Old Testament wine is described as a commoditiy of abundance and a sign of Gods blessing on Israel. Paul also urges people in 1 Timothy 5 to drink wine probably because it was cleaner than their water!

We are told that those who seek to be deacons and elders are not to be given to much wine. There is nowhere in the BIBLE that tells us that "JESUS drank wine". The Jewish weddings were one of several occaisions that were frequented by the drinking of wine. The wine that they used was VERY WEAK. It was fermented for a short period of time just to kill the bacteria in the water that was there. The water was unusable in most of the areas that they lived in.
Scriptures about deacons & drinking:
1 Timothy 3:1- 13 This is a faithful saying: If a man desires the position of a bishop, he desires a good work. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach; not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not covetous; one who rules his own house well, having his children in submission with all reverence (for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the church of God?); not a novice, lest being puffed up with pride he fall into the same condemnation as the devil. Moreover he must have a good testimony among those who are outside, lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil. Likewise deacons must be reverent, not double-tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy for money, holding the mystery of the faith with a pure conscience. But let these also first be tested; then let them serve as deacons, being found blameless. Likewise, their wives must be reverent, not slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things.
Titus 1:5-9 For this reason I left you in Crete, that you should set in order the things that are lacking, and appoint elders in every city as I commanded you-- if a man is blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of dissipation or insubordination. For a bishop must be blameless, as a steward of God, not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, but hospitable, a lover of what is good, sober-minded, just, holy, self-controlled, holding fast the faithful word as he has been taught, that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict.
There are other scriptural references but I see none that tell us to go out and get drunk only those that say NOT to do so. If HE mentions that a deacon/elder is not to do so then it is definitely not right for any Christian to do so. Just socially drinking sets the wrong example to others. I hope that this makes some sense. Have a great evening.

No. Water was impure in most of the places in the N.T. Wine was the drink of choice. I'm not talking getting drunk, but rather getting fed.

Eph 5:18 -
Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.
And ` is correct also. We should not in good concience cause others to fall.

As it isn't mentioned elsewhere, there is also the story of Lot and his daughters. They get him drunk in order to lay with him and continue the family...
The sections make no mention of the ethics of getting him drunk or sleeping with him.

It warns us about getting drunk. I don't think Jesus would've turned water to wine if he didn't want us to drink at all.
