I hear people say stuff like "marry for money, you can always find love later". I just think it would be a sad and lonely life if you only married for money. I would much rather marry for love and not have a lot of money. What are your thoughts?

Damn, you can't tell if I'm a guy or a girl? That kind of bruises the ego a bit...

It's kinda a hard choice for me. I guess I'm still young and don't understand, but I totally disagree about the people saying stuff like 'marry for money, you can find love later' If the man truly loves you, and does not second guess you that you love him just because of his money, he's the man that's dependable for the next few sections of your life. But you have to be careful, most rich guys don't care much about love. They just play with it, thinking that they're so rich, and one day if he really has to marry a girl, plenty of girls will come up to him. But if he truly loves you, just think...you'll have love and money just automatically, and soon you yourself will love him as much as he loves you, and you'll be the happiest woman on earth.

Dont marry for love! Money should just be a plus. You can always make the money later on. Love dosent come around so easily. If u marry for love, u can be happy and than become rich!

I'd rather marry for money. Love might come later. If not, I'll spend the money and look for happiness. Besides that, love doesn't pay the bills. You can't eat love, wear love or even play with love. Money on the other hand, well, money is a different story.

I agree. You can have all the money in the world, and be in a miserable marriage. To me, it would be much better to be single and lonely, than married and miserable. Always marry for love.....not for the love of money.

I have a job. I make my own money. I see NO reason to marry someone to get their money, if I'm not crazy about them. The money, no matter how much, wouldn't be enough to make having to tolerate living with (and being intimate with *gag*) someone I didn't really care for, just to have access to something that belonged to him anyway (the money). To me it would be theft, pure and simple.

Guess momma just raised me right. ☺

you can be with the wealthiest man in the world and not be the least bit attracted to him..... and you can also be with the poorest man in the world and be deeply in-love with him!!! i myself would never marry some one just because they have money.... and i would not marry some one i love because they dont have any money!!!

How many people that have "money" are truely happy? Yes it is tempting, but they are never happy. How can you be happy for something you didn't work for..... those people are usually pretty cold hearted, selfish, and end up being alone in the long run.
