How much can I expect car insurance to cost? I am taking drivers ed soon (which I have heard lowers the insurance price) and I also get pretty good grades (which I also hear lowers the insurance price). I would be driving a used car. Any ideas on how much insurance would cost me?

Lots of variable for car insurance. Age, driving experience, gender, grades, location, type of vehicle, and probably others I haven't thought of.

i pay500.00 per 6 months and that's at an expensive place;but look around 'there are lots of places that cost a lot less.they give you a bigger break;if you can get a year of insurance at once...i live in seattle 'and our insurances are more expensive than most...good-luck

No, and no one else does either, since it depends on a variety of things which we don't know, and you wouldn't want to tell us, everything from whether you own or rent and your credit report is looked at to establish rates. Ask your agent, only he will have the correct answer for you.
