Many different pops can explode, there's a certain method to it tho.
It has to be a 2 liter bottle, you puncture a hole into the cap, and make a hook with a wire to hook the mentos on it, then you set it up so the hook is on the cap, so the cap is closed, and then you push the hook down so the mentos drops in (while the cap is closed) and it will build up tremendous pressure and it will geyser out of the cap's hole.
I've seen my science teacher do it, it was awesome.

I don`t know. I tried it with Diet Coke.
Get a 2 Liter Bottle of diet coke (can`t be flat!), then open it and dump a whole bunch of Mentos in it (I used peppermint), then....step back and enjoy the show...(seen that on Mythbusters)

Caramel is a coloring not a sweetner . Coke zero is sweetened with splenda . I can`t get used to any sugar free sweetner so I add a twist of lemon which makes it tolerable . I`m diabetic now so I have to get used to it .
