I'm just asking to get some opinions on a good haircolor. I have some options and I just don't know where I want to go with my hair. I want to some voices on what you'd do.
My hair is very layered (little past my shoulders) and having two colors like I have in it now just isn't working at its lengths.
Right now I have an angled portion (there's a lot more blonde on one side of my head than the other) of my hair platnium and the rest underneath is a darker brown.
I want to have my hair be a single tone for once.
I can either lighten up the rest of my hair (strip the brown) and color it a natural golden blonde (my natural haircolor).
Another option is just doing a chestnutty brunette.
Or, I kind of want to do a deep red like Emily Blunt has in The Devil Wears Prada. I loooove her hair and I can afford to do red right now at my length.
I'm almost afraid to go all brunette again though because it takes so much processing to get it out if I want to change it.
What would you do?

Honey, you only live once! Do what you WANT, go for that red girl! I have tried EVERY color imaginable (even green, shhhh), and I have loved trying out each one. You sound like a Diva, so do as the Diva's do...steal the show!
If you are really scared, just talk to your Hair Technician, they are TOTALLY there to help you, and they won't do you wrong cause they do want a return customer...right?
I say, it looks like a red dawn to me!

The only way you can get your dark hair a lighter color before dying it dark is bleaching. You bleach it so it wipes out the dark and then when you dye it another color then it will stay in and be the color you want. Buy a box of dye, dont have your hairdresser do it if you're worried about it. It comes with instructions and is pretty easy Ive had my younger sister do mine before and shes 15. Get a new hair dresser just to cut your hair. You dont need to stick with the same one. If you want to stick with the same one though then just tell her you dont want it how shes been cutting it. Its her job and its your hair, take charge. I think darker hair makes people look older. (i just dyed mine a dark brownish red color because people kept saying me and my little sister looked like twins when im two years older and ive stopped getting that now.) Hope that helped.

i believe that it would be better if you just dyed your hair close to its natural colo. This way, you don't have to worry about dying it annually. Also, when your hair is at your desired length, you can die it that "to die for" red that you were talking about. In the end, it will all be worth it.

if you have blonde hair it will naturally get bleached by the particular sun in the summer. There was this guy in my class who else had golden blonde hair that had been a medium brown near the bottom part. When he came back to university after summer vacation, it was almost platinum blonde!

Jet black hair. I have actually dark brown hair and I think dark hair looks better. I don't really like blonde hair.
