Everyday!
I make a list of all the things I want to get done and give myself a time to get them done by.
If you have all day to do 2 things, it will take you all day.
Give yourself 2 -3 hours and you will get 10 things done.

Start by listing them in an orderly fashion. For example,: you need to vacuum, buy groceries, mail some bills, pick-up dry cleaning, and study for a test tomorrow. First, what time is it? Next what time do the grocer, the post office and the dry cleaners clothes? If you have plenty of time before they close, plan a route that will be the most productive with your time. Otherwise, go to them in the order they close. Once you return sit down and study for about an hour, then vacuum one room. Keep repeating this routine until you have finished both the vacuuming and studying. It's like trying to climb a mountain. if you look at the whole mountain it seems impossible. But if you concentrate only on making it to the first ledge it doesn't seem so daunting.

YES!!!! everyone gets it at some point. I get that a lot, between school work, helping around the house, keeping things in order, cleaning, etc. What I find helps it to first, take a notepad, and write out what you have to do. Just keep a neat list of what MUST be accomplished. You can arrange it in order by importance if you can, that would help. If you do the bigger tasks first, it 1) makes everything seem easier after that, 2) gets important things done first. Build priorities.
It's good to know that i'm not alone in this- i just get overwhelmed all of the time.

Every single day of my life. To try to weed through it, I make a TO DO list. On the top of the list are things that I must get done that day. Next on the list are high priority items that can be pushed back only if I can't find time for them. The rest of the list is just to remind me of things tha tI need to do. This way, if I find a little extra time (say when the kiddies are napping) I can knock some things off the list.

But make sure you always take some time just for you. Even just 15 minutes. You don't want to burn yourself out and your life is yours too. Sometimes, you need to do for you.

I feel this way often as a health care provider. Best thing to do is simply prioritize everything into a list. Know what needs done right now, what can wait a little bit and what doesnt need done til tomorrow, then get to work. As you go through the list cross it off and you feel a sense of accomplishment.

First don't be afraid to ask for help from a friend or loved one, your don't have to carry the load all by your self. Next, prioritize, do what is most important first, and don't procrastinate, it will only make matters worst. And don't forget to enjoy life! Were put here for a short short time, life is truly fleating. This world can be overwhelming at times. Pray, God can give you strength.

Constantly! I sit down and prioritize it and then try to stay on track. If it's all stuff to do around the house sometimes I just leave - go away so I dont' have to look at it until I"m in a better frame of mind.

Break it down! If you write down everything you have to do on a list, and cross off each thing AS you do it, you will be able to SEE your progress, and it will make things easier to handle.

If your list is something like...

Math homework
Clean room
Call friend about borrowing her CD
Return Library Books
Get sister's birthday gift
Walk dog

Thinking about all of those things is overwhelming and hard to remember. If you write them down and cross them off the list as you go, it will be a lot more manageable and you won't be afraid you'll forget something!

Yes everyday, thats why I'm procrastinating by spending time here. You have to prioritise what needs doing, so that the more pressing jobs get done first
