The BIBLE says that "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD." This is the only reason that I could imagine anyone who believes themself to be a CHristian to pray for the FATHER to do harm to others. HE would never do so in any case. Satan might/could but NOT GOD! I hope that you are mistaken on this point. You are correct about Jesus and turning of the other cheek, also. Have a great week.

I have never heard of a Christian praying for someone to die. I am not saying it has never happened, but it does seem to violate Christian ethics. The Christian is supposed to pray for the judge to gain insight, to rule justly.

I think you know that most Christians don't so stuff like this. I'm not Christian either, but I know that only the loonies pray for people to die. Disregard them they are a minority.

NEVER PRAY THAT WAY---ITS WRONG

PRAY FOR GOD TO REDEEM THE SITUATION--FOR HIS WILL TO BE DONE........

WE DON'T KNOW WHY GOD ALLOWS SOMETHINGS--HENCE WE BETTER NOT PRAY THAT A PERSON "DIE"
WHEN GOD IS ALLOWING THAT PERSON TO LIVE TO CARRY OUT HIS WILL--

ALL PEOPLE DON'T LIVE RIGHTEOUS LIVES AND GOD USES THESE PEOPLE ALSO TO CARRY FORTH HIS PLAN...

TURNING OTHER CHEEK ON ENEMIES "MEANS WHEN YOU HAVE OFFENDED" OR OVER STEPPED... OR COULD BE VIEWED AS DOING SO...

MANY PEOPLE DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT PHRASE...

DOES NOT MEAN TURN CHEEK WHEN SOMEONES SLPAS YOU OR ATTEMPTS TO HARM YOU OR OTHERS--CHRISTIAN HAS ALL RIGHTS TO DEFEND SELF...OR HOME ECT..
NOT WEAK BUT MEEK...

MEEK IS NOT WEAK..

This reminds me of the documentary "Jesus Camp" in which children are shouting repeatedly, "Righteous judges, righteous judges!" They were upset that some liberal judges were being appointed to federal courts.

Jerry Falwell prayed for Supreme Court Judges that didn't support his extremist views to die.

you know what? i agree..TV evangelists start their morning show off with prayers etc..then , they a lacing it with political criticisms and personal agendas. or, the constant non-stop pledges of money. i can understand if the funds are being used for helping others, but how much do they really keep? good question....
