its a pretty nice place and chaweng is quite commercialized as well, I like lamai better as there is lesser people and I stayed at the backpackers near the beach it has great view, loved the food as well, especially snickers shake haha, cheers

it is TOO CROWDED
it is NOT very clean
there are too many water crafts near the swimming areas
you have too many people that will nag you on the beaches
it is NOT cheap any longer as used to be
other wise' nice

they have the popular 'half-moon' and 'full-moon' party there which is the main attraction for tourists
