I have frozen bread in the freezer. Tomorrow morning i want to make a pbj sandwich with it for my lunch which is at 12 in the afternoon. Do i just put my spread on the frozen bread and let the bread defrost so its not frozen anymore when its lunch time...or do i toast the frozen bread in the morning? I just want to make sure i am not eating frozen bread for lunch.

Take the bread out tonight. If you put the spread on frozen bread, you will have soggy sandwich. Cold toasted bread is pretty is yucky too. Enjoy your lunch!

I keep my bread frozen in the freezer; when I want to use it, I put it in the microwave. I've come up with about 20 seconds at full power for two slices. It will be a little warm, but nothing that would prevent you from making a sandwich.

Do something nice for yourself. Let the bread thaw overnight. first thing in the morning whip up an egg, about 1/4 teaspoon of sugar and about a tablespoon of milk or water. Dip the bread in that and toast it in a frying pan. Then put on your pb and j and then wrap it up in daran or a zip lock. At lunch time warm it in the microwave only like 10 seconds at a time until warm. Sweet pickles are a good addition.

I would take it out now and let it thaw overnight. Make your sandwich in the morning. If you make the sandwich with frozen bread, you'll end up with a soggy sandwich. It won't toast right if you toast it from frozen.

That's actually an awesome question, sounds like you've got a dilemma there. I'm not 100% sure on how to handle this query, here's what I'd do: I'd toast it. I like my bread toasted anyways and that way you are assured of thawed bread. Good luck, enjoy your lunch tomorrow.

Just take it out and it will defrost with no problem. I wouldn't toast the bread while its frozen defrost and eat it toasted or with P.J,enjoy

let the bread defrost overnight and then make your sandwhich in the morning. Or if you want the bread to be crunchy, toast it!

sliced bread will defrost REALLY quickly! toast it if that's what you like but it would be defrosted by lunch, i promise you that! and it won't be soggy. bread doesn't give off hardly any moisture as it defrosts. just make the darn sandwich with frozen bread

Bread thaws quickly, so you don't have to toast it. It should be perfect by lunchtime.
