I wouldn't move to someplace that I couldn't take my birds with me to. No way, no how. To give up my birds would be like ripping off my arm...but...that's just me.

What's the real story here? Why can't you take them with you and why on earth would you give them up?

If you MUST get rid of them, or if it's about the money, contact your local pet stores. They might consider buying them from you for resale. I'd not visit Petco or any of the big chains like that. I'd go to a smaller pet store that actually gives a crap about the birds.

What's really going on here. Do you need someone to take care of them while you get situated? Or is it about money? If you need someone to just take care of them for a while, I'd look into that before just offering them up to a life without you.

Unless you are moving out of the country or to a place that doesn't allow birds you should not need to sell them. I moved over 500 miles with my flock.

I'm not sure why you have to sell your birds just because you are moving. I have moved with pet rabbits, dogs, cats, birds, turtles, horses and snakes. There must be something more to this than just moving.

Advertise at vet offices, the classified ads, and locate local breeders in your area. have a great move and I am sorry you must part with your birds. Have a great year.
