My friend told me that my boyfriend only wants me as a girlfriend is because so he can tell everyone that he has a girlfriend......should I break up with my bf cuz of that?....It kinda seems like it's true, but I'm not really sure.

Lisa E is right don't break up with your bf just because a friend told you a rumor! well I guess what I'm saying is talk to him find out if the rumor is true! if it is then break up with him you shouldn't be with someone if they don't like you!!! Hope my advice works! Good luck

No,not just yet. You don't know if your friend is telling the truth. What you need to do is ask questions and observe him more.See if the signs concludes up with the facts. You can't believe what everyone is saying. If what your friend is saying is true then just maybe should break up with him, because you need to have a boyfriend just because he really likes you and not because he just wants to tell people he has a girlfriend. Only you can really determine if you should break up with him. Think about it before you take actions.I wish you the best of luck!

If your boyfriend is your boyfriend, wouldn't you want him to tell people he as a girlfriend so they will know to stay away and not try to get with him?
This would be a stupid reason to break up with your boyfriend. I mean if he was cheating or something then dump him, but for this????
If you want, just ask him why he asked you out in the first place? This is really not anything to be furious over. Keep living you will see there will be major reasons for breaking up with a guy and honey this is not one of them.

No, you can't break up with someone because someone ELSE told you a rumor. I'm sure your friend told you this, BELIEVING it's true, but you should ask him about it. If he tells you it's true, or if YOU feel that it's true after you speak with him, then you might consider breaking it off.

No, your friend is either lying or jealous. Real friends should not say stuff like that. He likes you enough to pick you as a girlfriend over everybody else, too.

No, just ask him don’t believe when other people say you need to be sure of something. Now if you are thinking about breaking up so easily maybe you don’t want to be with him.

first double check wit him cuz friends arent always the most reliable scorces maybe she likes him and wants to break you to up so check with him first

talk to him about it, see why he really is going out with you, and if that is the case, then i think its the wisest thing to do. Because that kind of relationship is not going to last long.
