I feel that if it meant to be, then God will let it happen. As much as I love Hillary Clinton, I don't think this country needs a woman president. The middle eastern countries hate women with power and they do everything they can to make our lives miserable now, can you imagine how they will be if a women is president?

I would rather have someone elected based on how well they can do the job, not whether some fictitious entity says it's ok or not. Bush is a Christian, a god-believer, and all that junk and look at the "outstanding" job he's accomplished.

I long for the day when we actually /do/ separate religion & government, because when mixed, the two are always destructive since religion is all about power and government is too; thus a perfect breeding ground for corruption is formed.

If Hillary can do a better job than Bush then I'm all for her being president. However, what we think doesn't really matter anyway since the people don't elect the president...the electoral college does.

The best person for the job is a person.
I'm a chauvinist pig but I've met women who were far better at some things than men and therefore would be my first choice for the job.
e.g. As a skilled artisan and tradesman I've met some very skilled welders etc. but the best operator, freehand, EVER, of an oxyacetylene cutting torch was a girl named Tracy.
When it comes to cooking and cleaning I've seen some dismal attempts by housewives and some damn fine jobs done by blokes!
So if you want to please god, make sure that the person you choose to lead you will do a fair and equitable job that serves to make life and living better for as many as possible rather than simply serving their own egos. Whether this person is male or female does not matter.
You should have a close look at your opinions of people for you are not being fair and equitable in your dealings with ALL.

I think a woman can do any job a man can, and to bar a woman from becoming president when she is qualified to be so would be a huge breach of the laws and founding morals of this country. I'm an Agnostic, and I don't believe any god enters into it.

I believe the bible says that a woman is not to take authority over a man "In Church" Running for president hasn't anything to do with the church. My interpretation is that God is saying a man must be pastor of the church, this does not mean that a woman cannot teach, or speak a sermon in church, only that she cannot be the ultimate authority in the church. Many women have evangelistic ministries that are truly blessed by God. I support them 100%.

I don't think I could ever vote for a woman president. Woman have too many strong emotions to be able to lead without them affecting her. God did use women leaders in the bible, when there was no male willing to do the job. If possible we need to elect a Godly man who follows God's ways.

God is pleased with righteous people wether they are men or women (not with what job a person has)... and the people that follow the book of God in the right manner, and research about His greatness, and the real truth... is everyone so arrogant to be sure they know everything?? So search and ask God for guidance, you might find you are in the wrong path...

I am glad you ask! The UPCI claims in their by laws the UNited States government is Divine. The problem with that claim is there nothing Divine about UNited States Inc. there nothing Godly about the UNited States Inc. In case I am, wrong what is it the U.S. Government does or has done that is Godly? I know of nothing! I don't think God is pleased. Only time will tell.

Did you know that "God" is the word that is most frequently uttered in porn films? Normally by females.

Some irony, isn't it?

So, to answer your question, God does not vote, he's antidemocratic and pro-monarchy. He's a racist who supports and endorses slavery, rape, adultery, manslaughter, genocide, bigotry and war.

If you don't believe me, read Ezekiel or Isaiah, or simply browse through Deuteronomy and Genesis. You'll find out who that asshole is.

EDIT: A Follower Of Christ: Your nick says it all. No God created me because THERE IS NO GOD, you blind sheep.
