depends what you mean. horticulturally they may be legumes and you can argue about whether legumes are veggies or not but please remember the good folks behind the food pyramid have designated beans and legumes to the meat section of the food guide due to the high protein.

Yes. Dried beans and peas are legumes; but are still vegetables.

beans, as well as peanuts aare in the legume family

no they are legumes......loaded with fiber and protien.....very healthy!
