Oh Yeah!

I can't stop munching the chips and salsa. How can it get better? The steak burrito or enchilada that comes next! I don't usually crave chicken, but a chicken enchilada is sublime!

Where I live, there's no good Mex place, but in Chicago, where I'm originally from, there are plenty of good places, north to south. Real Mexicans making great Mexican food!

Why so yummy? Don't know, but it's as good as Italian!

In Mexico we don't use nacho cheese, and we don't eat nachos. In fact I had never heard of nachos nor burritos until I came to the U.S. The cheese we eat is white, like Manchego, Oaxaca. In fact, if you want to buy cheddar cheese we call it american cheese. The only time I ever saw chips and salsa was at restaurants, they'll put it on your table before you eat like you would bread but to me the chips were tasteless. I have rarely found authentic mexican restaurants and I hate when they claim to be and they'll serve you ground meat inside a bell pepper claiming it's a chile relleno. You don't use a bell pepper. The only time I found authentic mexican food was in a couple of restaurants in San Antonio, TX . I do think nachos are yummy though.

I am half Mexican and I grew up with the food and I LOVE IT. It is just good. Lots of veggies, cilantro, tomatoes, beans, cheese, tortillas, salsa.. omg, i can go on and on and on.... but you know what is the best!??? Have u ever had food from a TACO TRUCK or one of those small stands... they may look sketchy but burittos are SOO GOOD From there... and ummm TACO BELL IS NOT authentic mexican food... you gotta have the real stuff!!! Mexican menu has sooo many different dishes and wow its yummy... I have been to mexico too and different parts of mexico are known for different dishes... have u ever tried MOLE con pollo. Well Pollo=chicken and mole is this sauce (kinda spicy made with red or green chile and it also has a bit of chocolate in it so it is sweet and YUMMY!!! DELICIOUSO!!!) so keep on enjoying mexican food. I know I am.. oh and PS :if you havent already, go to a mexican bakary!! and try the PAN DULCE!! it is to die for.. sweet bread!!!! OH wow, i am way too passionate about mexican food. love it.

Tex Mex is the real deal. If it aisn't fresh, it aint real. And by the way, there is no such thing as nacho cheese... unless you are eating at Taco Bell. Just long, thick strings of moterrey, cheddar, jack. I travel alot and I find that it just isn't the same if you are not in Tejas.

I share your love of Mexican cuisine, and I think the reason it is so tasty goes back to the pure ingredients like corn, peppers, onions, and tomatoes with a ton of salt thrown in.

Mexican is one of my favourite foods. Ranks right up there at the top with Thai food.
