1. Powerpoint is a software that you use to create interfaces for presentations. You can type words, insert tables, images, graphical statistics, etc. These software arranges your project in form of the presentation pages...
2. Powerpoint is one of the microsoft products, it's bundle on the microsoft office, i think you can download it from microsoft.com and find the download link..
3. yes i think it will cost you...i think it about 300-500$ or maybe you just try to download the trial one, but it's only can be used for 60 days if i'm not mistake..
if you wanna try the trial one find the Office Home and Student 2007..but if you wanna buy you can choose between the Office Professional Edition 2003 or Standard Edition 2003..
good luck for your project..

powerpoint is a program that comes with Microsoft Office. If you have Microsoft Office (MS Word, Outlook, Excel) on your computer at home then you more than likely have Powerpoint to.

It's used to create slideshows and presentations. It's pretty easy to use.

This help any? Enough to be a best answer? :P

Go openoffice.org download IMPRESS. This is a free, legal version of powerpoint.

Mom & Dad should not be expected to fork out money for a school project like this.
