there really is nothing you can do. my parents favor my brother and always put me down.

I know how you must feel when your Mother favors your sister over you. and as you say she also puts you down. I came from a family of Eight kids seven girls and one boy, and for some reason my mother would always favor my oldest sister and she always would be hitting me with the belt or her fists, I can barely remember that but, as I was growing older I learned to duck her fists, and sometimes I would hide so, as not to feel the belt on my back. Please ignore your mother's remarks and try not to let it bother you so much, because you are younger and she is the adult so, as children, we have to obey our parents no matter what, you won't be able to change your mother's ways so bear it until you are older and then find some place else to live. I hope that your mother realize the damage she is doing to you and would try to be a better parent to you. Good Luck.

Pour petrol on you sister while she is sleeping and throw a match on her. How could you mum possibly favour your horrible disfigured or dead sister then?
Just kidding.
You're mother will favor her until the day she dies. Mothers who favor will never change. Just ignore it until you get out and don't get sucked back into family affairs once your out of the house.

Talk to your parents. Tell then that you feel like your being put down and your not very happy about that. Maybe you do things that they don't approve of. Clarify that you are who you are and putting you down and not being supportive is not what parents are supposed to do. Put your foot down and make them feel bad.

tell her how you feel..im sure she doesnt notice shes doing it, and a little heads up cant hurt. But if she knows she does it, jus forget about it and let it go in one ear and out the other. Dont let neone put u down and jus be urself

You need to bring this to her attention. Sit down and talk to her. I bet you that this is not true. Your mom loves you both. Next time you see her doing this, stop her, sit her down and tell her what you fell and you and your mom could fix this.
