Don't worry. We all go through it. No, the clear stuff is not it. You will know when it comes. There will be some blood....enough that you can handle. Also, you may feel a slight feeling in your abdomen....also one that you can handle. It may come soon, or you may have to wait a few years. It's really no big deal!

Don't worry dear, you'll do fine. Cramps hurt and it wont be regular for a few months because your body will be figuring it out. For being at school just be sure to check the pad or tampon (which ever you choose to use) if it feels uncomfortable. I got mine in fifth grade so along with growing I had to deal with an irregular period for a while. Clear stuff is just the secretions from your vagina, you will know what your period is by spotting and maybe minor cramps. The first one wont be long at all and the warnings start about a week before. Many girls get bloated so pants feel tight and it hurts to stand up aftering sitting for a long time. You should ask your mom to help you through this, she is the closest one to you that has gone through it and your cycle will probably be in some variation of hers. Talk to her about using pads or tampons and how to use each properly. It's not something to worry about because all woman go through it and survive. Welcome to being a woman! You can do it, you are strong just stay calm and go about your day normally.

no thats not your period, but if you are having a discharge it might be on its way pretty quick, make sure the discharge does not have an odor or you have any pain other than that your ok. having your period does not hurt, in a way it does because of the cramps but nothing you can't get through with a little advil or ibuprofen. its mainly just uncomfortable in the first couple days. don't be scared it is really so natural? can you talk to your mom i would suggest this so when it happens you will be aware of what to do. good luck honey, and like i said do not be scared.

Its all normal. The cramps really suck but Midol or Pamprin help. If you're at school go to the nurse she always has pads and tampons. I was a late bloomer I didn't have mine until I was 15 lol. When you have your period it will start out as brown stuff then it will turn red as the fresh blood flows through. It usually lasts 5-7 days I was blessed mine are like 3 days.

You may notice a sticky discharge in your underpants. The discharge is coming from your "Vagin-a". The discharge is uasually clear or whitish and has very little smell. If it looks greenish or has a strong odor,or if your vulva feels itchy or swollen, see your doctor. You may have an infection.

Your First Time...

So the day comes when you get your period. It may announce itself with a bright red,Rusty red,or dark brown stain in your underpants. What do you "do"? Dont panic.Wipe yourself as well as you can.If you havent got a tampon or pad-Or you dont know how to use one-fold up a wad of toilet paper,Kleenex,or paper towel to put into your underwear.

Find your mom,an older sister,or woman you trust.Take a deep breathe and say,"I think i just had my period.Do you have something I can use? " You may feel like crawling into a hole, but remember, getting your period is normal. There's no reason to be ashamed. The older person will probably remember how it felt her first time and will be glad to help.

My Advice: Ok i just i mean just got my first period about a month ago and this mayy sound weird but when you get it, it feels like you have to go poo and so when you go "poo" you well...find blood in your underwear and not everytime you have to go poo means "omg i got my period" No it just happens you dont even feel it, like i just stoped my second period and i forgot a pad when i went to school so durning P.E. i had to for the whole day go around with a wad of tiolet paper in there. Discharge is very normal i ahd mine for about a half a year to a year and then my period came. I am only 11 and in 6th grade. I was excited to get mine but once it came it was just so over whelming and i got painfull enough cramps to where i had to bend over and just sit there for a second. Well anyways a period is Very noraml for us girls. You shouldnt be worried because one day you'll go to the bathroom look in your underwear and "Boom" theres some blood.

I hope i didnt scare you with cramps and stuff cause i wasnt trying too i was jsut telling you the plain truth and my experience. Hope your Period goes smoothly and remember dont be afraid of it! [=

There will be more vaginal discharge (that's the clear stuff). Your period is actual BLOOD with bits of tissue. It'll feel like you're oozing stuff and it'll be sort of sticky/gooey when you sit down.

Ask your mother or other female relatives when they got THEIR periods. I got mine when I was 13; it's different for various people. Some may not get it until their later teens.

And school, there are usually little bin things on the walls of the washroom cubicles. Throw your used pads/tampons in there, not the toilet.

Your period itself doesn't hurt, but you might get cramps. I personally don't get cramps, but everyone's different. Check with your family, your symptoms may be similar to there's.

Keep an extra pad or two in your school bag just in case if your period comes.

:)

well if you have a few drops of blood in your underwear or like brownish stuff, for the first time definitely it is the sign that it is your period. i had experienced that too, at first just a few drops and every month it improves so it does flows out so u will need to wear a sanitary napkin during your period. it doesn't hurt really to have a period. what you just have to put in mind is you need to take vitamins with iron during your period or before and after just to replace the iron in the body so you will avoid being anemic. also it will prevent you from having headaches and leg cramps. you can also do some exercise and walk before the cycle comes then you will just be fine. nothing to worry at all its just living healthy.

No but you will be getting it soon like in 6-8 months and ya its normal most people get at the age of 9-18 and no it doesnt hurt but when you get it most people get a lot of cramps and that may hurt but besides that no and the first time it doesnt have to come out completley red but if you get it at school you can go to the nurse and ask her for a pad or tampon

Well the white stuff isn't your period, yet. It might mean that it is coming up to your period though. It does hurt sometimes when you have cramps, but you just need to take some kind of pain killer and you will be fine. If you think that you might start soon, just keep bringing some "supplies" with you. If you don't have any "supplies" with you, don't be afraid to use some toilet paper until you get some. Don't worry about getting it. It's not that bad.

i don't think so,your period will look like brownish red for the first drops that will come out but mainly it's blood, red color.
if you are confused about it tell your mum or any of your Friends who have had their periods to give you some clues.
it's not some thing that hurt really, except if you have some cramp, but it's generally mild if you keep your mind of it.
if you are not sure it will come when you are in school, try putting just one sanitary pad in your bag, where is safe and will not fall out.
if you see blood stain, just put on the pad to avoid stains on your uniform.
the clear stuff is like the normal vaginal secretion once you are sure it's not blood.
there is nothing to be scared of you are becoming a grown girl.
good luck.

Honey, do not difficulty. I were given mine even as i became 15, and it supposedly might want to ensue at 16 too. you've lots of time for it to ensue. Your mom's genes might want to have some result, yet generally in case you're very energetic, or in case you haven't stepped ahead in different places yet, probability is it truly is going to come later.
