What are you doing To prevent this for your children??

What are you and your Family doing to prevent global warming for you children. This is a big threat for our children. I advise all parents (and non parents) to watch the inconvinet truth its a real eye opener. Did you know if we dont do something soon most of manhatten could be under what? Just by shuting your computer off saves engery ie helping to reduce global warming and it could save you $120 dollars a year. Move heat down 2 degrees and air up, prevents global warming and could save you $100 dollars a year. This is a serious threat for out children, What are you doing to help?

I didn't post this questine to get stupid anwsers. And to you lovely people that think its a joke you will be the one suffering, and its so horrible that you would want to make everyone eles suffer too.

Umm to the person that said try putting an ice cube in water it doesnt rise well try filling a cup with ice cubes and then filling only half with water. See if the water levels rise.

My kids are very well informed on global warming and we plant trees together,recycle, shut off lights when we leave the room, turn the heat down, rarely ever use air conditioning,don't use aerosol cans for anything!! We do many other things too, I think it should be taught in school too. We are doing our part-everyone else please do the same! I want all the children to have a future!

I am planting a garden so as to save on food, fuel, and put something back into the ground it needs as natural fertilizers (plants). This also creates more oxigen.
I am now driving a toyoto which not only saves me money by staying out of the repair shops(something my fords lived in)but also this saves fuel, oil, doesn't create as much unneccessary heat as did my fords and chevys. Any thing we can do to cut back on heat will help.

I am removing the out side walls and reinsulating them as this is an old house without sufficient insulation.
I am also installing double insulating windows. Much larger windows for cooling in the spring and summer when there are a breeze. I love to open my windows and exchange the air inside, and feel a cool breeze again. There is no reason to run air condition when you can acheive the same thing with window screens.
I am wearing more clothes in the house in winter and stopped trying to keep the house like it was july inside all winter.
I am planning a system for my house which will allow me to use my hot water for heating and underground pipping (water system ) for cooling.If this doesn't work I may go with a cooling tower.
We try not to cook as often or use the microwav ea lot more rather than take 8 minutes ot heat soemthing whihc will cook in 1 1/2 minute in the microwave.

Pure junk science. When I was a kid the same nutcases were busting our balls over a new ice age. When that didn't happen they turned their sites to this. Next, I assume they will worry us to death about weather being to moderate. And by the way, when ice melts it doesn't cause the surrounding water to rise. Try it in a glass of water sometime.

And thanks for the tips, but our place is hotter than most in the summer so I know we don't use our AC as much as everyone else.
