This is what you will need: Metallic gold netting, 50th wedding anniversary mints (can find at a party store), Hershey kisses, preferrably in the gold wrapping and gold or white twist ties or very thin ribbon, a picture of the golden couple, scanned and then layed out to quarter size circles, you can probably get about twenty to twenty-five on one sheet of paper, then you laminate each sheet depending on how many you need. Cut each one out and rember they will be the size of a quarter. Cut your netting into nice size to put cand in, twirl and tie, hole punch a hole into each picture and slide it down the twist tie or ribbon and tie again. If you have the time you can print 50th on the back of each picture. That way guest will have a keepsake. I hope you understand this if not email me at scorpdelght69@yahoo.com and I can detail it out a lil bit more.

I would suggest gold tone picture frames. Then you can take a picture of your grandparents at the party and send it out to your guests later. Everyone owns a digital camera these days so you can have the pictures printed really reasonably at someplace like Wal-Mart or Sam's (you don't need a card for the photo lab). You can find small frames at the dollar store or online at sites like eBay.

Good Luck.... We are in the process of doing the same for my in-laws!!

A simple little note with a "thank you for coming" note on it. Typed up on pretty paper. If you can afford to have a picture of your grandparents printed on this note that would be cute. Roll up the pretty paper and tie it with gold ribbon.

Quote suggestion: "A joy that's shared is a joy made double" -anonymous.

Add something like, " Thank you for sharing in our joy of grandma and grandpa's 50th anniversary."

You could also say something like: It's "bean" wonderfull having you share in our joy of grandma and grandpa's 50th anniversary"
With this one, instead of rolling the note up and tying. Make it a small card and attach a little bag of jelly beans to it! (which explains the "bean" instead of "been")

Good luck and no matter what you do, good people will apreciate your efforts with this!!!

50th Anniversary Traditional Gift: Gold.
50th Anniversary Contemporary/Modern Gift: Gold.
50th Anniversary Gemstone: Gold or Imperial or Golden Topaz.

Optimism and wealth are often associated with gold.
Not only is the metal gold beautiful, it is strong, and resistant to corrosion.

It will depend on what your watching for a tremendous or small reward. A small reward might be a double image image body of them. One in their marriage ceremony image and one in every of them now. Write a little bit some thing in a card of the way you loved developing up with their love and respect their dedication to one another. A tremendous reward might be something relatively. perhaps placed their anniversary within the paper. Or present to aid pay for an anniversary travel someplace. Send them to a couples spa or dinner someplace excellent. Maybe even throw them a get together. I desire this is helping you a little bit bit.

Easy make edible favors. You could make cupcakes and wrap them individually with some nice paper and tie a ribbon on it, you could also make home made fudge and do the same thing, you could make a cake that happens to be your grandparents favorite and get little boxes to put the cake in and tie them with ribbon. On the cupcakes you could write 50th.

If you buy the wrappers only these are .99 you can buy the candy bars at a wholesale store and wrap them yourself, it very easy and alot less than having them wrap the bars for you.

All teh wrappers on this site are .99 unless you choose a photo wrapper which are a bit more expensive, but still reasonable.

People always love candy, even if you dont do these wrappers, do something edible. Its cheaper and will not collect dust and wind up in the trash.

The one thing that comes to mind is what we did for my mother and father in law for theirs..we got one of their wedding photos and took it to a bakery and they put it on the cake, they can not take photos and some how have it as a thin layer of edible sugar stuff on the top of the cake.

I would use Gold Paper and make a scroll out of it, just with their name and date and saying "The Golden Years' tie with a gold ribbon. Something simple.
