During Reagan's term in office, the Iran-Contra deal took place. The CIA sold huge amount of weapons to Iran, then used the proceeds to finance the Contra rebels in Nicaragua. Considering that Iran was already branded as hostile to the interests of the United States during that period, why did the sale still took place?. This is a clear example which shows that money is the only thing that matters to a few influential people in the seat of power
in the government. The welfare of American soldiers is of little consequence.

Of course they go back to the Pentagon...Duh!! The stuff belonged to them originally...Like you or I they had a huge Garage Sale.....The buyers are not permitted to export, weapons by law. Especially to nations such as Iran. You will note, the perpetrator, had done it before and was just released from prison.
We have been auctioning surplus for 100+ years....Army &Navy Stores??

Yes!! It is a bit alarming..I agree with that portion

hmmm "front companies" check out the definition, the mob uses "business fronts" (fake/misleading companies) to launder money and other crimes. Clearly if you can read your question these were "fronts" for Iran and China to buy military surplus. I doubt the Pentagon knew that up front. Please read and think.
