I don't, and I don't really get why other people do it... I think it's tacky. Am I wrong?

Actually, a wallpaper that has anecdotes, antiquated folk remedies or even recipes is acceptable and more appropriate if your bathroom is shared with guests. There are also toilet paper rolls that offer jokes, comics and anecdotes.

For the unaware, not everyone can "go" just because they are in position. For many people, passing waste is a slow process and the active mind would like to do something other than stare at the wall in front of them.

I do, just because it's a good time to catch up on some reading. I don't think it's tacky per se, though I think it depends on the kind of company you're expecting. Certain reading materials like magazines are probably okay, but books might seem tacky. I think there is a certain ickiness that could be associated with it because not everyone who uses the throne uses good hygiene. Nobody wants to read a mag that's been touched by a person who doesn't wash his hands.

I do not ready in the bathroom. I have been known to do a little reading in the bathtub though. I don't keep reading material in the bathroom. But my husband on the other hand and done some awesome reading while having a little sit down on the potty. He has read the entire Bible and several novels. Right now he has a book called Uncle John's bathroom Reader and it is full of inane information. Things you didn't know until you read the book. He loves reading in the bathroom. I think it is sick.

I do keep Reading material in my private bathroom, but not in the guest bath. I wouldn't want people to think I'm weird! I can't stand wasting time, so I catch up on my reading while answering natures call.

Yep - we do, in the main one and the powder room which guests tend to use more.

Have everything from Sears Catalogue, word searches w/ pencils, Victoria Secrets, tid bits of facts books, Time magazine, Women's Day. I try to recycle them monthly - we subscribe to a lot.

I think it's tacky to care about what people do behind the locked bathroom door.

I keep mail-order catalogs in the bathroom. That way, there's always something to look at if someone needs to be distracted for a few minutes, but it's not something I plan to keep forever.

We don't keep reading material in the bathroom. If you want to read something while you're in there, bring it with you.

reading in loos fantastically whilst employing WC is significant for some and that i've got seen many with that habit. I even have tried myself for my area yet didnt like it. I hate those adult males who use the shared bathtub's reading cloth whilst others save waiting. yet cant help them, they say its exchange right into a habit that without the reading they cant.
