Start with ten reps and then gradually build up. If you get sore at first, skip a day and then try again. Don't over do it.

I agree with the person above....but honestly I hate those stupid 'ab machines' I prefer the good old fashion way...
"crunches". I have actually found fabulous ways to work on your abs, back, thighs, etc. on this website called fitness magazine. I have used it and had fabulous results! Check it out even if your just curious, there are even work outs that don't involve a single crunch! Hope this helps.
