Is he suicidal because you tried to break up with him? He won't do it, he's just looking for you to feel sorry for him. Ignore it.
Otherwise, he needs serious help....tell his parents and get him into counseling.

You should put more details. is he suicidal couse you said you would break up? as someone already said, he will not do it, he just wants you to feel sorry and guilty. in that case, just dump him, cause emotional blackmail is disgusting. If he is suicidal, cause he has some problems, be there for him, maybe try to make him see some therapist and support him as much as you can. talk to his parents, dont keep it for yourself.

be supportive but firm. tell him he should see a doctor. if he gets angy back off & tell his parents or a sibling
