omg how rude! those people aren't friends so just ignore them! being a healthy skinny is a great thing. You can fit into clothes better and it just looks better!i'm 16, 5 ft adn 88 lbs. A lot of people ask me if i eat or not, and i say yes, because i do eat a lot and i don't barf it all out either. If they believe me then good, if they don't, then screw them. They're probably just jealous, why would you want to try and get fatter to please those kind of people?? i love being thin!! i don't care what others say, because i know i'm healthy.
don't worry about it, and DO NOT try annd gain any more weight, seriously, if you do then those rumor spreaders will think that you used to have an eating disorder. They will think that their gossiping affected you and now you're starting to eat again.
trust me, being thin is a wonderful thing, you can shop at abercrombie, hollister, etc.

Im and the same way except im 13 not 16 and i weigh 82, but people like say im anorexic and stuff and make jokes about it even my friends. I personally am fine with it. I dont think i look anorexic i just look healthy and thin and people just make fun of stuff like that cuz there jealous. Dont do anything to gain weight just be happy with yourself, its hard but ive learned to do it and you can too. If you eat crap now then after you have kids its all gonna come back to ya. My mom was super skinny when she was my age and now she is still thin but not nearly AS skinny as she was.

Have you had you're thyroid tested? An overactive thyroid will speed up your metabolism and explain your difficulty gaining weight. Do you have other symptoms such as anxiety, insomnia, jitteriness? If your thyroid is overactive, they can put you on medication to correct the problem and will let you put on weight. If that's not the problem, try eating more calorie rich foods. Don't go crazy, try to eat a balanced diet, but don't be afraid to indulge.

first of all- don't listen to what people say! when you've heard someone is saying those things about you, go up to them and look them in the eye and tell them, calmly, in a pleasant way, what you'd heard. they'll probably wimp out and nod, but if they have the nerve to say something mean to your face, explain to them what a "fast metabolism" is, and tell them that your doctor approved your weight. it's not your responsibility to justify these things to people, you're better than that. remember- when people say mean things about you, it's just because they're jealous. i'm sure most of the girls spreading rumors would kill to have a fast metabolism.
anyways, if you do want to gain weight, just up your portion sizes a bit. if you feel sick, or feel like you're overeating, then stop. don't try to eat more junkfood, bec. you'll just gain weight in a bad way. ask a gym teacher about exercises to build muscle; it's heavier than weight. hope this helped. good luck!

Be proud of your weight. I have a friend that is 28 and has 2 kids. She still weighs 89 pounds. Some people cant help that they are small framed just as people that are large framed cant help it. I am 5'2 and weighed 95 when I was 16. Now I am 26 and weigh110 and wish I was back at 95. Be proud and enjoy your figure while you can!

Hey don't take pills! They damage your body! That should only be a last resort. Go see a nutritionist. Try weight training - not too much cardio weigths build up muscle and cardio burns fat. But please don't scoff a whole lot of pies because that is terribly bad for you. Try to just accept it for a couple of years, you'll fill out. These people if they are your 'friends' should be helping you find ways to help not critisise you.

Don't start eating more then you already are cuz you'll get really sick, but you may want to try working out for muscle so you look more lean instead of lanky.
