I have recently discovered, in my thinking, that hot tea is consumed with meals or after. American diets, ususally, a nice ice cold soda is consumed. Is there any substance to this thought? It makes sense that it would aid in digestion letting foods flow rather than shocking the system with cold while eating hot, it just doesn't make sense, any more, to do this at meal time. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks~Lynn H. ~N.Y.

The healthiest thin to do is not drink while you are eating. Soda just adds sugar and acid.
