I have found that most thickening products cause little to no change. One natural way to help support thicker hair involves simple vitamin supplements. Sometimes vitamin deficiencies weaken the hair

While it is hard to get the thickening results that you want, there are ways to make hair appear and feel thicker without actually thickening it. Talk to a stylist about getting your hair cut in a way that provides more body, such as layering. Also, stopping conditioner use may help your hair appear thicker. Finally, you could always consider perming your hair. It may be a big change, but it would certainly provide the body you are looking for!

Hope that helps. :)

Dandruff can be from different reasons. One could be dry flaky skin, but I do not believe this is your problem. Leaving shampoo on your head would probably aggravate this condition. Since you said it helps I believe you may have a build -up on your scalp from styling products. Use a clarifying shampoo for 3 days, then your regular shampoo after wards, but use clarifier at least 1 a week. You may want to change your styling products. I always suggest Paul Mitchell products because they leave no build-up. To help with thinning; DO NOT use a brush when your hair is wet, always use a pick or wide tooth comb and always start at the ends of your hair working your way up to the scalp, also section hair, smaller sections less tangles.Only when the hair is completely dry should you use a brush, and then I suggest a vent brush.

Okay so I used to have this problem. All you have to do is blowdry it and after that flip your head over and brush down from scalp to tips all over and flip back up and it will be big and beautiful. PS: Give it some shine and use Pantene Pro V Ice Glacial or something. It works =]

try the product line Rene Furterer, it's a french line that specializes in scalp conditions and hair restoration as well as hair thickening. They are local distributors over the internet in the U.S.A. or just buy it online. It's really great!
