Muslims are NOT allowed to have non-muslims as friends. Here is the direct quote from the koran.

4:89 So choose not friends from them till they forsake their homes in the way of Allah; if they turn back (to enmity) then take them and kill them wherever ye find them, and choose no friend nor helper from among them,”

Now watch the nasty attacks on me for showing this and then asking how anyone can be a muslim when it is such a satanic way of life. They will lie, say you do not understand or it is distorted. This IS the DIRECT verse.

Ok, ok, so it's accurate. Why not take this grievance to a chat room or message board? This isn't the place to rant or proselytize.

You're all we need; another person who rants & raves about anyone different than yourself. I have never once read anything which indicates Muslims are ashamed of their faith -- and I would be willing to bet that I read a heck of a lot more than you do.

I have a Muslim neighbor & we have discussed our religions w/o any animosity. Gee, do you suppose they are nasty to you because of your biased approach & nasty attitude?

I would rather be surrounded by Muslims than people such as yourself & I'm a Christian.

Barak Obama has some gentle words on this subject, as a Christian, on how we can come together in peaceful problem solving.
As a Muslim, I join with all others who live in the way of Allah,
and fight only under the duress of those who turn to attack me or other human beings.
Thank you for this revealing discussion on how man sees only what he is looking for.
I wish peace for you and your family.

Have you read 4:90? It says: "Except those who join a group between whom and you there is a treaty (of peace), or those who approach you with hearts restraining them from fighting you as well as fighting their own people. If Allah had pleased, He could have given them power over you, and they would have fought you: Therefore if they withdraw from you but fight you not, and (instead) send you (Guarantees of) peace, then Allah Hath opened no way for you (to war against them)."

None of MY non-Muslim friends wish to kill or fight me, and I don't wish to kill/fight them. We're allowed to take them as FRIENDS, but we're not to take them for HELPERS if they wish to fight and kill us. That's all. DUHHH!!! It's called COMMON SENSE!

And ASHAMED?????? LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DUDE!! I'm a MUSLIM, and I LOVE, respect, and more than appreciate Islam!!!! I'm VVVVVERY proud to ALWAYS admit that I'm MUSLIM and LOVE and follow my religion to the best of my ability.
I'm a Muslim (with God's GRACE and MERCY!!!! Ahhh), and I've tons of Muslim AND non-Muslim friends; how many different types of friends do YOU have?
May God bless you and have mercy upon you, too!
