Both of my kids snore...it's nothing to worry about. If you're worried take him to be tested for allergies and talk to your Dr to get some reassurance. :)

My son who is now 1 has snored since about 4 months old. I believe it's caused from something like a dry throat or dry nasal passages. Try a humidifer in the bedroom where your son sleeps. If you are still concered you can try the kids, breathe right strips or talk to your peditrician.

At least its only your son, for me its the boyfriend, two dogs and a cat that all snore. Pass the ear plugs please!

Don't worry about it, its RARELY serious. Its the position of the mouth and the openess or lack there of within the throat, mouth and sinuses. If it were sleep apenia (spelling) when they stop breathing I'd go to a doctor.

My brother snores and he has asthma. It could be connected to some sort of breathing problem. I won't say to go check him immediately but just watch out. Or he could be allergic to the type feathers in the pillow he uses.

Children who snore, are slightly built, and are sleepy during the day frequently have obstructive sleep apnea fron tonsillar swelling. Get him checked by a pediatric ENT (ear, nose and throat doctor).

Have his tonsils checked. My daughter snored and also walked around with her fingers in her throat. When I looked in her throat, her tonsils were so swollen they touched --she was using her fingers to push them apart to breathe!!
