Be honest with them and 8yrs is not a big difference in age. If you love him, be very honest with your parents.**

20 and 28? That is not seriously older. If you think so then mentally you are still a child. If you have your stuff together and he does as well...... welcome to adult land. If you both do it would not be an issue. Tell your parents and see what happens.

There's nothing wrong dating an older man, yall are only eight years apart, older men tend to know what women need and desire!! Older men know how to treat a woman right, they've got experience! Plus, age is only a number, its the love that counts! Go to your parents and tell them look we are in love he's older than I am and I'd really like for yall to meet him. Most parents don't look at the age they look at if he's going to treat you right and take care of you!!Good Luck!!

Um you think that is seriously old? thats nothing my boyfriend is 32 yrs old and has a 6 year old daughter [im 21] the day i told my parents they were a little shocked about his age and his daughter...but they were happy if i was happy, so to them it didnt matter aslong as they saw a smile on my face and that their daughter was happy thats all that mattered....age is no barrier, aslong as your both happy thats all that matters..

just tell them his age 20 and 28 is not a very BIG age diffrence not unless your parents are pretty SCRICT about the ages of the men you date.

In the scheme of things, that's not that much older. If he loves you, has a job and supports himself, I'm sure they'll see the light.
