That isn't much of an overdose... enjoy feeling drousy and possibly a bit sick. Your body is allowed about 8 in one day, you've only slightly broken this rule.

Just take it easy and DON'T take anymore. Drink some water and go to the bathroom to let it pass through your system faster.

The sooner you get to the hospital the better. You need to get this out of your system fast. Paracetamol is very toxic when taken even as a small overdose. You cannot hope to manage this at home. You think you're gonna be okay but the symptoms from paracetamol overdose don't show for some hours. This is serious.

Although you can have eight in 24 hours, taking 10 all at once is far too much for your body to cope with.
Life will get better....I promise, I have been there.

e-mail me if you like ...
up to you at the end of the day

Go to Accident and Emergency and show them the bottle they came from also tell them exactly how many and at what time you took them.
Then they can give you things to help absorb the effects or help you stop absorbing the paracetamol, like charcoal. They can also give you medication via a vein so it goes straight into your blood, so acting quicker.
The bottle will give them more information.
Then think carefully about what you have done and why. You are only doing yourself harm.

more about Paracetamol Overdose

Tylenol overdose and Acetaminophen overdose

Acetaminophen is one of the most commonly used over-the-counter pain relievers and fever-reducers. It is also found in combination with many over-the-counter and prescription medications, such as Tylenol Cold, Darvocet, Tylenol #3, and Percocet. Acetaminophen is metabolized (processed) by the liver. When too much acetaminophen is taken, the normal liver-processing system becomes overwhelmed, and the liver uses a second processing system. This second processing system, unfortunately, turns the acetaminophen into a very toxic substance that severely damages the liver.

Initially often only nausea/vomiting/sweating, then no other symptoms for 24 hours.

At 24-48 hours, liver damage occurs, which can lead to right upper quadrant abdominal pain, jaundice (yellow skin or eyes), confusion, Coma, kidney failure, and death.

Taking more acetaminophen than directions call for on the bottle

Taking acetaminophen from more than one source without realizing it

Use of acetaminophen by those who use alcohol or who have liver disease

Suicide attempts

History of acetaminophen overdose

Examination may show jaundice (yellow skin or eye), confusion, or Coma.

Blood Tests:

Acetaminophen level is elevated

Liver test abnormally high -- elevated AST, ALT, Bilirubin

Kidney tests may be high -- elevated BUN, Creatinine

Tests may be done to rule out the presence of other drugs.

Patients with a history of alcohol abuse, liver disease, children above age 6, the elderly, or those who take medications for Seizures can develop acetaminophen toxicity at doses near or just above those recommended.

The stomach should be emptied by forced emesis using ipecac syrup (induces vomiting) or gastric lavage (tube placed in stomach and material in stomach flushed, then suctioned out). Both of these measures need to done within 2 hours of the acetaminophen overdose. Induction of vomiting at home should only be done as directed by a physician or Poison Control.

After 2 hours, activated charcoal is given, binding to acetaminophen to prevent its further absorption.

In the hospital, if the physician determines that the blood level of acetaminophen is toxic, N-acetylcysteine (Mucomyst) is given. N-acetylcysteine is an antidote for the toxins produced by acetaminophen, and may be effective up to 36 hours or more after Tylenol overdose.

Even without any symptoms, you need to seek immediate attention by contacting Poison Control, calling 911, or going to a hospital. Many individuals have little symptoms early on. Consequently, by the time symptoms develop, severe liver damage may occur, and even death.

Hepatic encephalopathy

What a silly billy you are! I've done it myself but took a fare few more than ten. All the same you must get yourself to your local casualty department as soon as possible as an overdoze of paracetamol can seriosly damage your liver! It's most important that you go now! They will take care of you! Good Luck!

Making yourself throw up isn't a good option...not recommended.
I would suggest contacting your country's emergency number (112, 999, 911, etc) and talking with them first or your doctor's emergency number. Poison Control would be another good option. It isn't life-threatening at this point, but you'll probably have to go to hospital. They may have to flush your stomach, depending on how long ago you took them. Take the packet with you - that's important.

what you shouldnt be doing is putting it on answers. Call your doctors out of surgery line or your local casualty. You will probably just feel ill with taking 10 but better to be safe than sorry
