So you think free will should be the only law, huh? So if someone feels like murdering you, that's okay? Stealing all your stuff, okay too? Rape, okay?
Free will and the law are two different things, thank God, and the last I checked, murder is illegal in all countries, even communist countries. Also, in case you hadn't noticed, people in the good ole USA get abortions all the time, its legal here. Their free will is to have sex and go ooops, have to fix that booboo, just too darn inconvenient, and then kill their babies. They could use condoms or take the pill, but that's just too darn hard. That's free will my friend, we humans don't know how to use free will, most of us are apparently too stupid. So, yeah, I'd like to see abortion cease in this country, make people face the consequences of their free will, but theres just too many ignorant, irresponsible people that want a quick fix. There are thousands of people who can't have kids waiting for years to adopt, but we wouldn't want to inconvenience those poor girls who can't keep their panties on.
And just so you know, there's a lot of right-to-lifers out there who aren't christian, aren't any religion, yet who do your blame for the very idea of having to face our own consequences, christians. So typical on this site.

I think it smacks of going against God. It's hypocrisy. I'm not necessarily talking abortion, but I am talking about creation "science", prayer in schools, and other church sponsored legislation to boost their religion.

Law exists to protect people from violence and fraud. God made us free; that doesn't mean we don't protect ourselves from the free actions of would-be murderers and thieves.
Pro-life folks simply think that unborn children are people and therefore deserve the protection of the law. Anyone whohas the stomach to look at pictures of what aborted children actually look like will be hard-pressed to disagree.

They probably feel the murdered fetus does not have a voice or defense in its killing and feel it's the right thing to do. Can't women/men use birth control if they don't want to terminate a life?

Whats wrong with trying to avoid killing babies for conveniences sake? or should we just bomb the crap out of starving countries to solve the food shortage problem?
The mother (in most cases) chose to do what it takes to get pregnant, so that was her free will, but now she wants to kill something to avoid the consequences of her actions. how is that fair to the new persons right to life?
