You say something like "Is there a problem between us that I am not aware of?". You can change that to what ever works in your neck of the woods and it will work the same way. Just talk it out.

ask them... If you let it stew it will only get worse. Walk right up and ask them what's wrong. When they start to go off on you (and they probably will) just stand there and take it. When they're done, then tell your side and make a go of it. Don't interupt them, they will think that you don't care what they say and that you don't listen. They will be more likely to hear your side if you give them the courtesy first.

Listening is an art, but it's also a skill, learn how to listen and then put it to work.

Good luck

Confrontation is always best. Ask the person if you offended them in anyway. If so, apologize and try to work things out. But remember, some people will not like you regardless of what you say or what you do. You need to accept that and realize that there are also people who will like you regardless of what you say or do. One of my teachers said this, "20% of all people you meet will like you, 20% will dislike you no matter what, and you have to work for the other 60%.

Ask them. Ideally, try to arrange a face to face meeting, but call, email, or write them a note if you have to. If they won't tell you, than there isn't a whole lot you can do -- except to realize this person is somebody you are better off not associating with.

Give them a few days to cool off then IM or Email them, telling them that you don't like that there is tension between you and you'd like to work it out if only they would let you know what it is you can do to mend the fence.

Ask why. If they aren't direct, let it go and don't become dependent on someone who will not openly communicate with you.

You can ignore that persoan, but he will think you really like him and he will try to pick on u again. The best way is to speak clear. Leave me alone !

Ignore it. Eventually they'll get over it. Apparently it wasn't that big of a deal if you don't know why they're mad.
